The Spirit

Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom, where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Today I will walk in the full freedom and liberty that is available to me in Christ. I will not back down from the enemy. I will not let fear rule my life. Death has no hold on me; I speak Life to dead situations that God wants raised from the dead.

Today I will not let the work that Jesus did for me be of no effect; I will walk in the fullness of my calling. I will face my enemy. I will accept the anointing Christ has given me to destroy the work of the enemy.

Today I will give Him praise for who He is. I will stand in the face of adversity and give a prophetic praise to my God. I will remember your wonders and your miracles, I will sing of them to everyone that I come into contact with today. You are the great I Am!

From The Inside Out

So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you. Romans 12:1-2

Today we will take our everyday, ordinary life, and place it before God as an offering. We will embrace the great things our Lord has in store for us today.

Today we will keep our attention fixed on Jesus, and we will let Him change us from the inside out.

Today we will recognize the plans and the paths the Lord wishes us to travel. We will quickly respond to His direction and He will make our path prosperous.

Jesus Raises the Son of the Widow of Nain

Luke 7:11-17

11 Now it happened, the day after, that He went into a city called Nain; and many of His disciples went with Him, and a large crowd. 12 And when He came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the city was with her. 13 When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.” 14 Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, “Young man, I say to you, arise.” 15 So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother. 16 Then fear came upon all, and they glorified God, saying, “A great prophet has risen up among us”; and, “God has visited His people.” 17 And this report about Him went throughout all Judea and all the surrounding region.

Today I will look for my opportunity to be noticed by Jesus. I believe Jesus will notice me out of a crowd. I will recognize He is moved with compassion for me and He wants to meet my needs.

Today I will anticipate a miracle for my worst nightmare. I will stand in faith and believe for the impossible. I will call those things that are not as though they are.

Today I will look for the light that is at the end of the tunnel and I believe that good things are coming my way.

Matthew 4:23-24

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.

Today I will tell someone the good news of the Gospel of Christ. I will not sit by with my mouth shut tight. I will open my mouth and become the voice of God. Without someone telling them the Kingdom of God is at hand, that there is healing available for them, that God loves them, how will they hear?

Today I ask that God stirs the stagnate waters in our life's, stir the stagnate waters of our faith, spring up oh wells within us, let the spirit of God set us on fire.

Today Lord break out among us with signs and wonders, healing, prophecy, love, mercy and grace.

Today we ask that you rekindle the prayer furnaces of the church. Set the prayer furnaces on fire with the spirit of revelation in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Lord we call forth the singers, we call forth the musicians, we call forth the watchmen, raise them up to go into the churches and take their place.

The Good News of Salvation

Isaiah 61

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me,

Because the LORD has anointed Me

To preach good tidings to the poor;

He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,

To proclaim liberty to the captives,

And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;

To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD,

And the day of vengeance of our God;

To comfort all who mourn,

To console those who mourn in Zion,

To give them beauty for ashes,

The oil of joy for mourning,

The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;

That they may be called trees of righteousness,

The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.”

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

Psalm 141:9

This was posted by Marsha Burns on October 21, 2009: I wanted to re post this for you because I think it is a time when the enemy is trying to deceive us through things that appear different than they really are. This is a great word from Marsha. Enjoy!

Things are not necessarily as they seem. You must walk the narrow line of truth to avoid deception. Venture forth cautiously and without haste. Proceed with your eyes wide open and your ears attuned to My Spirit. Be aware; be one with Me, says the Lord, for I will direct you and keep you from the snares of the enemy and from hidden dangers. Trust Me to lead you in the way of truth and righteousness.

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns -- October 16, 2009:
Be strong! Watch for a lying spirit to open the door to a spirit of fear. Watch and be on guard; do not allow the enemy to gain a foothold in any area of your life. Defeat him where you find him, and put your faith and trust in Me, says the Lord, for I am well able to bring you through any challenge. Stand on the firm foundation of My promises to you, refusing to budge one inch from what you know to be the truth.

1 John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

In a well-furnished kitchen there are not only crystal goblets and silver platters, but waste cans and compost buckets—some containers used to serve fine meals, others to take out the garbage. Become the kind of container God can use to present any and every kind of gift to his guests for their blessing.

What kind of container are you? What kind of container do you want to be? It is not too late, repent today! Get into Gods kitchen and be the container He wants you to be. That is where you will find full peace over your life. Delight yourself in the Lord and he will delight Himself in you. That peace you are searching for can only, truly, be found in Him. May God reveal to you the type of container you are, not the type that carries the garbage to be thrown out, but the type that carries God’s blessings to others, full of authority and power!

Let's Pray

From Donna Towns: Please pray for my Grandson Michael, he is 18 yrs. old. He suffered a severe back injury a couple of weeks before graduation. He is having an Epidural Cortisone injection at 2:45 today. then three later on. Please pray the injection works and relieves him of back pain. If this doesn't work then he will require surgery. I claim that in Jesus name. He is the healing Physician!!

Lets pray that this works and also for total healing for his body in the name Jesus.

Proverbs 19:20-21

“Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise. Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.”

Today I will listen to and accept instruction, because it will come from the Lord. He will place God connections in my life today that will have wise counsel for me.

Today I will focus on the plans that God has for my life. I will not let my flesh control my destiny, no; I will let the spirit take control and lead me into all wisdom.

Today I will trust in the Lord with all my heart, my mind, my soul. I will not lean unto my own understanding; I will draw on the wisdom of God which He has given to me through the spirit. I will acknowledge Him in everything thing that I do, from the smallest to the largest, and He will direct my path.
