Good Morning!

Lamentations 3:22-23 (NKJ)
22 Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.

They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.

His mercies are new this morning. Forget what happened yesterday, today He has made all things new. Make your best day now, speak to your circumstances today and rejoice, celebrate your victories, its a new day.

Speak Faith

The Power of The Words You Speak

Romans 4:17 (The Message)

We call Abraham "father" not because he got God's attention by living like a saint, but because God made something out of Abraham when he was a nobody. Isn't that what we've always read in Scripture, God saying to Abraham, "I set you up as father of many peoples"? Abraham was first named "father" and then became a father because he dared to trust God to do what only God could do: raise the dead to life, with a word make something out of nothing. When everything was hopeless, Abraham believed anyway, deciding to live not on the basis of what he saw he couldn't do but on what God said he would do. And so he was made father of a multitude of peoples. God himself said to him, "You're going to have a big family, Abraham!"

Speak to your destiny today and call those things that seem not to exist as though they do.

Some Things Take Time

It seems that a majority of Christians believe once they get a word from God it will happen instantly. You know, like making a cup of instant coffee, or popping something into the microwave. We want it and we want it now. So when it doesn’t happen instantly we start questioning it, doubting it, our faith waivers and in some cases we totally give up on the promises of God.

Let’s look at Psalms 1:3 He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of waters, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.

We quote this scripture and shout for joy then expect the promise to be done overnight. Now there is an exception to the rule; miracles do happen. But in the majority of the circumstances, it takes time. That is what this passage is referring to. We tend to focus on “whatever he does shall prosper”. So if we prosper in all things it must be instantly. That is what our society tells is. Not so fast. As we look at a mature tree, we see how majestic and powerful it is. It took years for that tree to get to that status. It withstood many storms, many droughts, but it is still standing. That is what this scripture is referring to. Put your trust in God; fully bask in His presence day and night. When the storms and droughts come your way, your roots will have grown deep into the word because you are constantly feeding yourself with the word of God, day and night. Your occupation will not wither and you will produce your fruit in due season and you will prosper. It takes time to become a majestic tree. Stay in the word of God and you can make it to that final Destination.

Thanksgiving

4 I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus, 5 that you were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge,

6 even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you, 7 so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, 8 who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:4-9 (New King James Version)

Love

How High, How Deep, How Wide is Gods Love?

Romans 8:35 (Amplified Bible)

35Who shall ever separate us from Christ's love? Shall suffering and affliction and tribulation? Or calamity and distress? Or persecution or hunger or destitution or peril or sword?

Hebrews 12:1-3 (New International Version)

1Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

2Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

The Light

28And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 NIV

Stay the course! Stay the course! God will complete the things He has called you to do. He will work it out. You may have strayed and gotten off course, but don’t be afraid. He has shined a light on your path and He can get you back on course. Follow Jesus; look for the light that He has placed before you; it will give you reassurance that you are on the correct course. Do not fear; it is an unmistakable light, one that can not be duplicated and it’s only for you.

Be Blessed!

Salt and Light

13"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.

14"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:13-14 NIV

Your Employer (God) wants to remind you of whom you are working for; The Salt & Light Company. So your job today is to spread some salt in unseasoned areas, shine some light into dark areas. Today show some random acts of kindness, pay someone's water bill, take an outcast to lunch, ask someone you have hurt for forgiveness, show your family you love them, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

Life in the Spirit

Paul tells us in Galatians to live by the spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. I believe that since Christ is in you, the hope of glory, you are now able to overcome the works of the flesh. Therefore, since that same spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you and gives you the strength to be an over comer, then you should have the fruit of the spirit as well. The fruit of the spirit is;

Love

You Have Mercy

14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.

15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

The Secret Place

Psalm 91 (Amplified Bible)
1HE WHO dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].
2I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!
3For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.
4[Then] He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler.
5You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day,
6Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday.
7A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you.
8Only a spectator shall you be [yourself inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High] as you witness the reward of the wicked.
9Because you have made the Lord your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place,
10There shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come near your tent.
11For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service].
12They shall bear you up on their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13You shall tread upon the lion and adder; the young lion and the serpent shall you trample underfoot.
14Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he knows and understands My name [has a personal knowledge of My mercy, love, and kindness--trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never forsake him, no, never].
15He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
16With long life will I satisfy him and show him My salvation.

Delight in the Lord!

Psalm 1 (New American Standard Bible)

1How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! 2But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.

3He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers.

Pray Today

2 So He said to them, “When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. 3 Give us day by day our daily bread. 4 And forgive us our sins, For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one.” Luke 11:2-4 (New King James Version)

October Blessings

Exciting things are happening in the month of October. It’s a month for miracles, blessings, and things that were held up in the heavens will be released. I have already had several works of God take place this month in my life and much more is on the way. And guess what? This blessing is for you also. I know the economy looks pretty bad but I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their seed begging for bread. He will make a way were there is no way.

Job Says: 9He does great things too marvelous to understand. He performs countless miracles. Job 5:9 (New Living Translation)

Do not put God in a box, especially this month. God is speaking and He is doing great and mighty things in October.

Hang on, help is on the way.

Be Blessed.

Tuesday, October 7, 2008

As I stated yesterday, I was under some sort of attack. Ephesians tells us we are not wrestling with flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. My brethren, do not think it coincidently, these fights you are going through. They are meant to bring you down, cause confusion, stop the flow of God in your life so you will give in and not complete the task. We are required to be strong and yes; we have to fight. In the following passage in Ephesians this fight is pointed out.

10In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].

11Put on God's whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil.

12For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere. Ephesians 6 (Amplified Bible)

O.K; I understand. Nobody likes the idea of these unseen things coming against them but that is the way it is and going to be. Get used to it. Instead of fearing it, prepare for it. Put on your Armor every morning; get into the throne room of God with praise & worship every morning. Get ready for battle and get ready to win. You are victorious. You can be a mighty warrior. You can accomplish what God has called you to do. You will walk in the blessings of the Lord.

In the name of Jesus Christ!

Amen

Hey,

I ‘m back. My laptop went down over the weekend but I have it fixed now. I am still concentrating on our praises to God. It’s amazing how much strength you get by spending time with the Lord worshiping and praising him. I had a tough day so when I got home this evening I decided to get in my prayer room and start praising and worshiping God. I finally broke through and the heaviness that was on me lifted and I felt refreshed again, ready to do battle. I spent another hour in that charged atmosphere and completed my task. So I leave you with another psalm, meditate and seek His face and you will get your answers.

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the sons of Korah.

1O CLAP your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph and songs of joy!

2For the Lord Most High excites terror, awe, and dread; He is a great King over all the earth.

3He subdued peoples under us, and nations under our feet.

4He chose our inheritance for us, the glory and pride of Jacob, whom He loves.

Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!

5God has ascended amid shouting, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.

6Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises!

7For God is the King of all the earth; sing praises in a skillful psalm and with understanding.

8God reigns over the nations; God sits upon His holy throne.

9The princes and nobles of the peoples are gathered together, a [united] people for the God of Abraham, for the shields of the earth belong to God; He is highly exalted.

Be Happy!

Philippians 4:12 (Amplified Bible)

12I know how to be abased and live humbly in straitened circumstances, and I know also how to enjoy plenty and live in abundance. I have learned in any and all circumstances the secret of facing every situation, whether well-fed or going hungry, having a sufficiency and enough to spare or going without and being in want.

Realize today that God is in love with you and He wants you to be Happy.

Treasures

Isaiah 33:6 (New King James Version)

6 Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, and the strength of salvation; the fear of the LORD is His treasure.

In this present time with the stock market fall, banks failing, and the mortgage crisis still hitting home we all need wisdom and knowledge. Isaiah points out that wisdom and knowledge will be stability for us, I think in any times. God will always pull you through when you respect Him. This respect gives you access to wisdom, knowledge, and strength. Trust in the Lord today, ask Him for wisdom and knowledge to help you maneuver through these hard times. He is your strength in times of trouble.

Praise Part 2

I have always loved to praise & worship the Lord. I knew it was important to my well being, and God loves it. I must admit though, until this week I really didn’t realize how important it is. David was the King of Israel, a very important leader, and he placed praise and worship as a priority in his & his people’s life. David commanded that the Ark of the Covenant be brought up on the shoulders of the Levites amidst the sound of songs and musical instruments to his new capital, Jerusalem. There he had it placed in a tent and appointed two-hundred and eighty-eight prophetic singers and four thousand musicians to minister before the Lord, “to make petition, to give thanks and to praise the Lord” day and night (1 Chronicles 15–17). David separated the musicians for worshiping God continually, 24-7. That was what they did every day, day after day. They ministered, made petitions, gave thanks, and praise to the Lord, the God of Israel. I think they took praise and worship very serious. They set the atmosphere for miracles, it was charged with Gods presence because He said He dwells in the praises of His people. They did nothing before they consulted the Lord with petitions, praise, and adoration. David and the army commanders chose the 288 prophetic musicians, 12 per one hour watch; this provided the connection between ministry and military victory (1 Chronicles 25). Do you consult the Lord about things in your Life? Have you set the atmosphere for miracles? David thought it was so important for his success he implemented it continually, 24-7. You should consider the pattern or path that David took. As the saying goes you do not go to someone who is lazy and unsuccessful to show you how to be successful. Do not overlook the power of praise and worship. It is more important than we all realize.

In Christ

Praise Part 1

People today have forgotten the power of praise but King David knew were his strength came from. Prophetic praise came before and after his military victories. Meditate on the scriptures below and I will comment later.
4 He appointed some of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, to make petition, to give thanks, and to praise the LORD, the God of Israel: 5 Asaph was the chief, Zechariah second, then Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-Edom and Jeiel. They were to play the lyres and harps, Asaph was to sound the cymbals, 6 and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests were to blow the trumpets regularly before the ark of the covenant of God.
David's Psalm of Thanks
7 That day David first committed to Asaph and his associates this psalm of thanks to the LORD :
8 Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done.
9 Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts.
10 Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.
11 Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.
12 Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced,
13 O descendants of Israel his servant, O sons of Jacob, his chosen ones.
14 He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth.
15 He remembers [
b] his covenant forever, the word he commanded, for a thousand generations,
16 the covenant he made with Abraham, the oath he swore to Isaac.
17 He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant:
18 "To you I will give the land of Canaan as the portion you will inherit."
19 When they were but few in number, few indeed, and strangers in it,
20 they [
c] wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another.
21 He allowed no man to oppress them; for their sake he rebuked kings:
22 "Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm."
23 Sing to the LORD, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day.
24 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.
25 For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods.
26 For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the heavens.
27 Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy in his dwelling place.
28 Ascribe to the LORD, O families of nations, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength,
29 ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name. Bring an offering and come before him; worship the LORD in the splendor of his [
d] holiness.
30 Tremble before him, all the earth! The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved.
31 Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let them say among the nations, "The LORD reigns!"
32 Let the sea resound, and all that is in it; let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them!
33 Then the trees of the forest will sing, they will sing for joy before the LORD, for he comes to judge the earth.
34 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
35 Cry out, "Save us, O God our Savior; gather us and deliver us from the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name, that we may glory in your praise."
36 Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Then all the people said "Amen" and "Praise the LORD."
