Matthew 16:19

"And that's not all. You will have complete and free access to God's kingdom, keys to open any and every door: no more barriers between heaven and earth, earth and heaven. A yes on earth is yes in heaven. A no on earth is no in heaven."
The Message

A new door is open for you today. Jesus has passed His authority on to you. There was a transference of authority, and a transition of power that took place when Jesus gave those Keys to His Church. You are a part of that Church so you have that authority to unlock the doors that have been shut and locked by religion. Use the Keys that Jesus has given you. Make a difference in society today.

Seeing the Invisible

Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 NKJ

Today I will not lose heart or start focusing on the "light" affliction, which is but for a moment. I will move toward my call with a positive, happy, can do it attitude. I know that things are not always as they appear to be, so I will not focus on the natural things around me. I will focus on the unseen things, the things in the spirit, which are eternal. Today "I" will choose, "I" will make a conscience effort to walk in the Spirit and put down the things of the flesh. Today I will walk in victory...

Love

"Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self. Love doesn't want what it doesn't have. Love doesn't strut, doesn't have a swelled head – doesn't force itself on others – isn't always "me first" – doesn't fly off the handle – doesn't keep score of the sins of others – doesn't revel when others grovel – takes pleasure in the flowering of truth – puts up with anything – trusts God always – always looks for the best – never looks back, but keeps going to the end."
(1 Corinthians 13:4-7 – The Message)

Today I will choose love, the God kind of love, is "the more excellent way." As I walk in it today, I will choose the more excellent way because love never fails and I won't either!

Today I will look to help others that are in need. I will sow a seed of kindness and bless someone else since I am so blessed.

Today I will keep my cool. I will evaluate all situations before I jump to any conclusions and speak my mind.

Today I will choose to look for the best in everything because God causes all things to work together for our good.

Today I will not look back, the past is behind me, forgive and forget. It is time to move on in the things of God.

Today I will press in on the call that God has for my life. I will not focus on what man says but what God is saying. With God all things are possible.
Today I will love, be humble, patient, level headed, forgiving, follower of the truth, trust in the Lord, see the glass half full, remove the rear view mirror, and never quit!

Beatitudes

lessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

lessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted.

lessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth.

lessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.

lessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy.

lessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.

lessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.

lessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

lessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Read Numbers 14:11-44

As Kim and I read through Numbers 14:11-44 last night, I focused in on the fact that the people rejected God's miraculous signs and also the voice of His servant Moses. They clearly rejected God and Moses by dismissing the signs that He had done among them. Once you read through this passage of scriptures you will see God's response to the rebellion of the people (the faithless complainers, not the young ones) which was to die in the wilderness before they could enter the promise land, and the immediate death from plagues to the ten weak spies.

That is not what I want to focus our attention on. Can you imagine the disappointment Moses must have felt, the people God called him to lead has now greatly displeased God. They saw all those amazing signs and wonders but could not grasp the real truth; with God they could do all things and they could have the promised land. As a leader, you will be tested in this at some point. Moses was able to make it through this tough time because he had 20/20 vision.

You too can make it through those times when it seems that it is not going as planned. A big part of 20/20 vision is having a strong relationship with God. Moses and God spoke regularly which in turn gave Moses the strength and confidence he needed to continue to lead the people in this time of rebellion. With that said, what I want you to see is, for you to have 20/20 vision you must be in direct contact with the Father. You will come up against great obstacles and God will lead you through them but you have to hear the fresh revelation (vision) directly from Him, and then have the courage to follow through with what He is saying. That comes from spending time in His presence and learning His voice. Place your hope and trust in God and follow His voice, He will not lead you the down the wrong path.
