Want Peace?

Philippians 4:6-7 (New King James Version)

6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6-7 (Amplified Bible)

6Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.

7And God's peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Today I will lay all my circumstances, all my downfalls, all my crowns, and everything I am, at the feet of Jesus. I will make a definite request to the Lord by prayer and petitions, with a thankful heart, continually before the Lord. I know He hears my cry so I will petition Him. I will not cease until I see the mountain removed.

Today I will receive God's peace into my life. Because I have received this tranquil state of my soul that is assured of its salvation through Christ. This peace can not be understood and so people will not understand my calmness in the storm. But one thing is for sure, He has heard my prayers and petitions so you will see me come out the other end of the storm victorious and singing His praises.

3 John 1:2

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.

Today things are going to go my way. I will prosper in every way, everything I lay my hands to today will be blessed.

Today I will walk in a well body, the Lord has blessed me with divine health. No weapon formed against me shall prosper.

Today I will rejoice because my soul is happy. My soul has been re energized for the Lord. Today my soul is well within me and Today I will serve the Lord.

Mark 5:35-37 (Amplified Bible)
35While He was still speaking, there came some from the ruler's house, who said [to Jairus], your daughter has died. Why bother and distress the Teacher any further?

36Overhearing but ignoring what they said, Jesus said to the ruler of the synagogue, Do not be seized with alarm and struck with fear; only keep on believing.

Today I will choose to ignore the dream killers that are around me. I will not let their words penetrate and affect my soul, my spirit, and my belief in the dreams that God has given me.

Today I will not let fear seize my opportunity to achieve what He has called me to be. The Lord did not give me a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind.

Today I will choose to believe God. I will believe that He wants me to be blessed. I will believe that He is, and He is a rewarded to those who diligently seek Him. I will believe that I can accomplish the dreams God has shown me. Today I will believe that He is a big God and He cares about me.

Today I will believe God!

Revelation 1:5-6

To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever.

Amen

Today I want you to recognize the authority, dominion, and glory that you have in Christ. By the blood of Christ you have been made kings and priests to God. You have dominion today in your sphere of influence so lift up your head in confidence. Represent God today with the boldness of kings and priests. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

Pslam 118:24

This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it

Today is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. I am not hoping that I will be rejoice full, I am commanding myself to be rejoice full by the power of Christ that lives in me.

Today I will look at the things that come against me, not as problems, but opportunities to show the awesome power of God.

Today I will look at the glass half full, I will look for and seek out the positive side of every opportunity that comes before me.

Today I will be Happy!

The Power of Prayer

13-15Are you hurting? Pray. Do you feel great? Sing. Are you sick? Call the church leaders together to pray and anoint you with oil in the name of the Master. Believing-prayer will heal you, and Jesus will put you on your feet. And if you've sinned, you'll be forgiven—healed inside and out.

16-18Make this your common practice: Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you can live together whole and healed. The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with. Elijah, for instance, human just like us, prayed hard that it wouldn't rain, and it didn't—not a drop for three and a half years. Then he prayed that it would rain, and it did. The showers came and everything started growing again.

19-20My dear friends, if you know people who have wandered off from God's truth, don't write them off. Go after them. Get them back and you will have rescued precious lives from destruction and prevented an epidemic of wandering away from God. James 5:13-20

Choose Life

But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it. Deuteronomy 30:14

James 3 The Message
3-5A bit in the mouth of a horse controls the whole horse. A small rudder on a huge ship in the hands of a skilled captain sets a course in the face of the strongest winds. A word out of your mouth may seem of no account, but it can accomplish nearly anything—or destroy it!

5-6It only takes a spark, remember, to set off a forest fire. A careless or wrongly placed word out of your mouth can do that. By our speech we can ruin the world, turn harmony to chaos, throw mud on a reputation, send the whole world up in smoke and go up in smoke with it, smoke right from the pit of hell.

7-10This is scary: You can tame a tiger, but you can't tame a tongue—it's never been done. The tongue runs wild, a wanton killer. With our tongues we bless God our Father; with the same tongues we curse the very men and women he made in his image. Curses and blessings out of the same mouth!

10-12My friends, this can't go on. A spring doesn't gush fresh water one day and brackish the next, does it? Apple trees don't bear strawberries, do they? Raspberry bushes don't bear apples, do they? You're not going to dip into a polluted mud hole and get a cup of clear, cool water, are you? Live Well, Live Wisely

13-16Do you want to be counted wise, to build a reputation for wisdom? Here's what you do: Live well, live wisely, live humbly. It's the way you live, not the way you talk, that counts. Mean-spirited ambition isn't wisdom. Boasting that you are wise isn't wisdom. Twisting the truth to make yourselves sound wise isn't wisdom. It's the furthest thing from wisdom—it's animal cunning, devilish conniving. Whenever you're trying to look better than others or get the better of others, things fall apart and everyone ends up at the others' throats.

17-18Real wisdom, God's wisdom, begins with a holy life and is characterized by getting along with others. It is gentle and reasonable, overflowing with mercy and blessings, not hot one day and cold the next, not two-faced. You can develop a healthy, robust community that lives right with God and enjoy its results only if you do the hard work of getting along with each other, treating each other with dignity and honor.
