In Search Of God

By an act of faith, Abraham said yes to God's call to travel to an unknown place that would become his home. When he left he had no idea where he was going. By an act of faith he lived in the country promised him, lived as a stranger camping in tents. Isaac and Jacob did the same, living under the same promise. Abraham did it by keeping his eye on an unseen city with real, eternal foundations—the City designed and built by God.
Hebrews 11:8-10

Believe!

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” John 11: 25-26 NKJ
That is my qeustion to you today?

Trust

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

God Has Your Back

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “ For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:31-39
Jesus died on the cross for you and I, so we would have direct access to the Father through Him. That also gives us authority in Christ. You are an overcomer, a winner, a strong soldier for Christ and He has your back.

What's Next?

By entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for us—set us right with him, make us fit for him—we have it all together with God because of our Master Jesus. And that's not all: We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand—out in the wide open spaces of God's grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise.
There's more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we're hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we're never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can't round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit! Romans 5:1-5

Sustain

That word (sustain) has really been heavy on my heart for a week. You will find several definitions of the word sustain but this is the one that is speaking to me.

Sustain: to keep up or keep going, as an action or process. I guess this word is speaking to me now because in my own life I must find a way to sustain all the things that I have going on. You, as well as I, must realize if we were to stop doing what God has called us to do, it causes a ripple effect. Kinda like when you throw a rock into a lake, you initially see the splash as the rock enters the water, then you see the ripple of waves that flow out from the rock entering the water. If there was no rock that entered the water then you would have no waves. The same thing happens in our life when we are not able to sustain the work God has called us to. The wave of blessings that was flowing out of our work stops and so many people are effected. So we must continue to sustain the work that God has called us to no matter what obstacles seem to be in our way. We touch so many lives, some we do not even know about, and if we stop then it ultimately effects other people. Whatever your struggles are, God will handle that, but you must first cast your cares on him.

Psalm 55:22 says it best!
Cast your burden on the LORD, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

Hello Jesus

I wanted to introduce to you today, the Man with the plan, the Man with all the answers, who takes away all the sins of the whole world, who restores sight to the blind, who heals the sick, causes the lame to walk, who sets the captives free, who restores your soul, who will breathe life into you. His name is Jesus.

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. He is the only way.

Roman 10:8-12
8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”(that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”

Welcome to Jesus

Yes

I came across this picture and it speaks so loud to me! I believe to live above and beyond is an attitude we must have. You choose to rise above the junk in your life. Have you ever heard misery loves company. Get out of that rut. Lets choose not to complain and point fingers, look for the positive in things and uplift people. Live above and beyond!

It's OK!

26 And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.

27 And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will.

28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

I want to speak peace to you today! Don't let you heart be troubled, it will work out. Cast all your cares on Him. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and He will direct your path.

Jesus

As I meditate today I can only think on one thing, Jesus. He is the answer, He is our Hope, He is our life. I choose today not to focus on the negative things (death), but focus on the positive things (life).

You will have a good and productive day, in Jesus name.
