In The Beginning

1IN THE beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.
2He was present originally with God.
3All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.
4In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men.
5And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it [put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it].
6There came a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7This man came to witness, that he might testify of the Light, that all men might believe in it [adhere to it, trust it, and rely upon it] through him.
8He was not the Light himself, but came that he might bear witness regarding the Light.
9There it was--the true Light [was then] coming into the world [the genuine, perfect, steadfast Light] that illumines every person.
10He came into the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him [did not know Him].
11He came to that which belonged to Him [to His own--His domain, creation, things, world], and they who were His own did not receive Him and did not welcome Him.
12But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name
13Who owe their birth neither to bloods nor to the will of the flesh [that of physical impulse] nor to the will of man [that of a natural father], but to God. [They are born of God!]
14And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth. Strong Tower

"The name of the Lord is a Strong Tower; the righteous run to it and are safe." Proverbs 18:10

His name is your fortress and protection in this unstable time. Do not fear, trust in the Lord and do not lean to your own understanding, in everything you think and do, acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.

For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature].

And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead--Father, Son and Holy Spirit--and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power]. Colossians 2:9-10

Today, seek the Lord and His Strength; Seek His face evermore! Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth, O seed of Israel His servant, You children of Jacob, his Chosen Ones!

Today, remember He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the earth. Remember His covenant forever, The word which He commanded, for a thousand generations,The covenant which He made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac, And confirmed it to Jacob for a statute,To Israel for an everlasting covenant,
Saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan As the allotment of your inheritance,” When you were few in number, Indeed very few, and strangers in it
.

Today, Sing to the LORD, all the earth; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.

Today, Praise the Lord, For the LORD is great and greatly to be praised; He is also to be feared above all gods.

For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But the LORD made the heavens.

Honor and majesty are before Him; Strength and gladness are in His place.

Today, Give to the LORD, O families of the peoples, Give to the LORD glory and strength.
Give to the LORD the glory due His name; Bring an offering, and come before Him. Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness!
Tremble before Him, all the earth. The world also is firmly established, It shall not be moved.

Today, Speak to the wind and all the nations. Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; And let them say among the nations, “The LORD reigns.”
Let the sea roar, and all its fullness; Let the field rejoice, and all that is in it.
Then the trees of the woods shall rejoice before the LORD, For He is coming to judge the earth.

Blessed be the LORD God of Israel From everlasting to everlasting!

Today, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Oh, give thanks to the Lord!

Today, call upon His name; Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; Tell everyone you come into contact with of His wondrous works!

Today, glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the lord!

Today, all the people say, “Amen!” and praise the LORD.

And Jesus went up on the mountain, and there He sat with His disciples. John 6:3
Therefore when Jesus perceived that they were about to come and take Him by force to make Him king, He departed again to the mountain by Himself alone. John 6:15
Today, take some time and get alone with God. Go to your mountain, pray and ask God to refresh you. Worship the Lord on your mountain and he will revive you and give you the strength to make it to the top.

Proverbs 1:2-7 (New International Version)

2 for attaining wisdom and discipline; for understanding words of insight;
3 for acquiring a disciplined and prudent life, doing what is right and just and fair;
4 for giving prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young-
5 let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance-
6 for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise.
7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.

How Beautiful Is The Body Of Christ

How beautiful are the hands that serve the wine and the bread, How beautiful are the feet of those that preach the gospel of peace, How beautiful are the peacemakers, How beautiful are the pure at heart, How beautiful are the merciful, How beautiful are the hands that feed the hungry, How beautiful are the ones that dries the tears and gives hope to the hopeless, How beautiful are the grace givers, How beautiful is the Body of Christ!
Today, thank God you are part of His Body.

God Is Investing In Your Life

In the name of Jesus, I confess with the Psalmist David that I have not seen the righteous forsaken, or his seed begging for bread.

Father, Thank You for food, clothing and shelter. In the name of Jesus, I have stopped being perpetually uneasy (anxious and worried) about my life, what I shall eat and what I shall drink; or about my body, what I shall put on. My life is greater (in quality) than food, and the body (far above and more excellent) than clothing.

The bread of idleness (gossip, discontent and self-pity) I will not eat. It is you, Father, who will liberally supply (fill to the full) my every need according to your riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

In the name of Jesus, I shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Your words were found, and I did eat them, and Your Word was to me a joy and rejoicing of my heart.

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus, You are the Bread of life, the Living Bread.

Thank You, Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, for spiritual bread - manna from heaven.

Gods Extravagant Love For You

The amazing grace of the Master, Jesus Christ, the extravagant love of God, the intimate friendship of the Holy Spirit, be with all of you. 2 Corinthians 13:14 (The Message)
Isn't that amazing? God is telling you today that He loves you. You have a special place in His heart and He wants you to know that today. Now go share some love!
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (New International Version)

Content Whatever The Circumstances

Philippians 4:10-13 (The Message)

I'm glad in God, far happier than you would ever guess—happy that you're again showing such strong concern for me. Not that you ever quit praying and thinking about me. You just had no chance to show it. Actually, I don't have a sense of needing anything personally. I've learned by now to be quite content whatever my circumstances. I'm just as happy with little as with much, with much as with little. I've found the recipe for being happy whether full or hungry, hands full or hands empty. Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am.

Pray For Our President

1 Timothy 2:1-8

Instructions on Worship
1I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone— 2for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 5For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6who gave himself as a ransom for all men—the testimony given in its proper time. 7And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostle—I am telling the truth, I am not lying—and a teacher of the true faith to the Gentiles.

8 I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing.
Pray for our President and our Country daily.
The Lord said to me:
This is not the end but only the beginning. This two term President will surprise you. I will be allowed to rebuild this economy under his reign. America will find a new energy source during this time which will help you be delivered from such a heavy burden.

Pray for peace where there seems to be no peace, this President will bring forth a unity in the races like no other before him. He will be a praying President like Daniel and they will say; we did not realize he knew the name of Jehovah, but I say he knows all my names.

This President will have a Joseph anointing. He will be able to rule in the prophetic and he will be able to rule with wisdom through this present famine in the land says the Lord.

The Kingdom

Then He said, “What is the kingdom of God like? And to what shall I compare it? It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and put in his garden; and it grew and became a large tree, and the birds of the air nested in its branches.” Luke 13:18-19 NKJ

The Simple Things

Matthew 18:2-5 (The Message)

For an answer Jesus called over a child, whom he stood in the middle of the room, and said, "I'm telling you, once and for all, that unless you return to square one and start over like children, you're not even going to get a look at the kingdom, let alone get in. Whoever becomes simple and elemental again, like this child, will rank high in God's kingdom. What's more, when you receive the childlike on my account, it's the same as receiving me.

“Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory. For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That He would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end.

Peace To Our Nation

Father, in the name of Jesus, this is the confidence that we have in You: that, if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us; and since we know that You hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desire of You.

Father, You said, Behold, they are one people and they have all one language; and this is only the beginning of what they will do; and now nothing they have imagined they can do will be impossible to them (Gen. 11:6 AMP). We pray by the name of our Lord Jesus, that all of us in Your Body be in perfect harmony, and full agreement in what we say, and that there be no dissensions or factions or divisions among us; but that we be perfectly united in our common understanding and in our opinions and judgments.

Holy Spirit, teach us how to agree (harmonize together, together make a symphony) – about anything and everything – so that whatever we ask will come to pass and be done for us by our Father in heaven.

We pray that as members of the Body of Christ we will live as becomes us – with complete lowliness of mind (humility) and meekness (unselfishness, gentleness, mildness), with patience, bearing with one another and making allowances because we love one another. In the name of Jesus, we are eager and strive earnestly to guard and keep the harmony and oneness of [produced by] the Spirit in the binding power of peace.

We commit, in the name of Jesus, and according to the power of God at work in us, to be of one and the same mind (united in spirit), sympathizing [with one another], loving [each the others] as brethren (of one household), compassionate and courteous – tenderhearted and humble-minded. We will never return evil for evil or insult for insult – scolding, tongue-lashing, berating; but, on the contrary, blessing – praying for their welfare, happiness and protection and truly pitying and loving one another. For we know that to this we have been called, that we may ourselves inherit a blessing [from God] – obtain a blessing as heirs, bringing welfare and happiness and protection.

Father, thank You that Jesus has given to us the glory and honor that You gave Him, that we may be one, [even] as You and Jesus are one: Jesus in us and You in Jesus, in order that we may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Jesus and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Jesus.

Father, Thy will be done in our nation, as it is in heaven. Amen, and so be it.

2 Corinthians 13:11 (Amplified Bible)

11Finally, brethren, farewell (rejoice)! Be strengthened (perfected, completed, made what you ought to be); be encouraged and consoled and comforted; be of the same [agreeable] mind one with another; live in peace, and [then] the God of love [Who is the Source of affection, goodwill, love, and benevolence toward men] and the Author and Promoter of peace will be with you.

Luke 5:4-7 (The Message)
4When he finished teaching, he said to Simon, "Push out into deep water and let your nets out for a catch."
5-7Simon said, "Master, we've been fishing hard all night and haven't caught even a minnow. But if you say so, I'll let out the nets." It was no sooner said than done—a huge haul of fish, straining the nets past capacity. They waved to their partners in the other boat to come help them. They filled both boats, nearly swamping them with the catch.
In the natural things do not look so good. But I say cast your nets into the deep. We still have three months left in 2008 and it’s not time to give up. Again, I say cast your nets into the deep. I know you have been working hard with little to show for it but go out one more time and cast your nets into the deep. I say, "Never give up". Now is the time to press in and watch God work in a mighty, supernatural way. He is always right on time.

Be Blessed.
