In Christ

John 15:5 (New International Version)

5"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

The Big "Mo"

Have you ever noticed in sports when the opposing team is dominating the game, or when a mistake was made and momentum shifts to the other team the coach quickly calls a time out. That‘s because he knows how important momentum is and if he does not get a handle on the situation quickly it could cause him to lose the game. Most people think momentum just applies to sports. It doesn’t, it applies to everything in your life. If momentum is not on your side, call a time out, get regrouped, and call those things that are not as though they are. Put on your Armor that the Lord has given you to fight with and go do battle. Enter into prophetic praise and rejoice over the battle that you will win. Regain the momentum today and get back into the game and bring home the victory.

Be Blessed!

You Are Mighty Through God

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 (Amplified Bible)
3For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons.
4For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds,
5[Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasoning’s and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One),
6Being in readiness to punish every [insubordinate for his] disobedience, when your own submission and obedience [as a church] are fully secured and complete.

The work of the ministry is a spiritual warfare with spiritual enemies, and for spiritual purposes. Outward force is not the method of the gospel, but strong persuasions, by the power of truth and the meekness of wisdom. The words you speak today have power.

Thus the weapons of our warfare are very powerful; the evidence of truth is convincing. What opposition is made against the gospel, by the powers of sin and Satan in the hearts of men! But observe the conquest the word of God gains. The appointed means, however feeble they appear to some, will be mighty through God. And the preaching of the cross, by men of faith and prayer, has always been fatal to idolatry, impiety, and wickedness.

Stay strong, speak life today into those dead situations. Preach the Kingdom of God today.

Built God Strong!

Matthew 7:24-27 (New King James Version)

Build on the Rock
24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. 26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

Will you follow the voice of the Lord today? Will you be a doer of the word and not a hearer only? It will show in the end, it will stand or fall. And great was its fall.

You decide.

Make Things Happen!

Proverbs 24:30-34 (New King James Version)
30 I went by the field of the lazy man, And by the vineyard of the man devoid of understanding; 31 And there it was, all overgrown with thorns; Its surface was covered with nettles; Its stone wall was broken down. 32 When I saw it, I considered it well; I looked on it and received instruction: 33 A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to rest; 34 So shall your poverty come like a prowler, And your need like an armed man.

One difference between someone successful and someone unsuccessful is they do not quit. It doesn’t matter what the circumstances are they keep going. They will not allow themselves to become lazy or sluggish. They keep going, and going, staying focused on the promises. Don’t be sluggish today, go and make things happen in Jesus name.

A Call to Worship and Obedience

Psalm 95 (New King James Version)

1 Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. 3 For the LORD is the great God, And the great King above all gods. 4 In His hand are the deep places of the earth; The heights of the hills are His also. 5 The sea is His, for He made it; And His hands formed the dry land. 6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. 7 For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand. Today, if you will hear His voice: 8 “Do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, As in the day of trial in the wilderness, 9 When your fathers tested Me; They tried Me, though they saw My work. 10 For forty years I was grieved with that generation, And said, ‘It is a people who go astray in their hearts, And they do not know My ways.’ 11 So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest.’ ”

Today, you will hear His voice and a stranger’s voice you will not follow. Because you have heard His voice today and acted upon it, you shall enter His rest. His yoke is easy and His burden is light and He will supply you with what you need. Sing praises to Him today, praise Him for His mighty works. Bow down and worship your Lord today.

Be Blessed!

Faith to Accomplish the Impossible

Matthew 21:18-22 (New King James Version)
18 Now in the morning, as He returned to the city, He was hungry. 19 And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, “Let no fruit grow on you ever again.” Immediately the fig tree withered away.
The Lesson of the Withered Fig Tree
20 And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither away so soon?” 21 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. 22 And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

I believe that we are in a season of Faith. What I mean by that is we are in a place in our lives, at this point in time, where we will have to make a choice. A choice to follow our God given dreams which will require great faith or give into the voices of defeat telling us we can not do it. It’s easy to think you can accomplish what God has told you while you are in Church, immersed in the corporate anointing. It’s on Monday & Tuesday when you are alone and you have heard someone tell you that you can’t do that, you can’t accomplish that, no one in our family has ever been able to do that. What about when your circumstances tell you that you can’t accomplish anything or what God has called you to do is impossible. How about your finances dictating to you what you can and can’t do!

In Matthew we see a principle of success. You must believe your words are faith filled words, powerful, and can move mountains. "Moving mountains" was a Jewish metaphor for accomplishing what was difficult or virtually impossible. We can do the impossible, we can succeed, and we can accomplish that goal. If it does not seem possible, speak to yourself words of encouragement, faith filled words. Call those things that are not as though they are and put your stake in the ground today and watch that mountain move. It’s not going to be easy. It is going to take discipline, courage, and staying in connection with the Lord. Anything worth having cost you something! You are made of great stuff, after Gods image. Wow! That says it all. We are made in His image and the same spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead, dwells in us and quickens or mortal bodies. So you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

Speak to the mountains that are in front of you now, take authority over them and cast them out of your life and occupy the territory God has given you. You can do the impossible.

Be Blessed!

Scales

Luke 6:37-38 (Amplified Bible)

37. Judge not [neither pronouncing judgment nor subjecting to censure], and you will not be judged; do not condemn and pronounce guilty, and you will not be condemned and pronounced guilty; acquit and forgive and [
a]release (give up resentment, let it drop), and you will be acquitted and forgiven and [b]released.
38Give, and [gifts] will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will they pour [
c]into [the pouch formed by] the bosom [of your robe and used as a bag]. For with the measure you deal out [with the measure you use when you confer benefits on others], it will be measured back to you.

How are you measuring circumstances in your life today? As we see in this passage in Luke the scales you use to measure with will be used to measure your life as well. Show mercy on someone you normally judge harshly. Forgive that person in your life that you have not forgiven so you can be forgiven. Do not condemn because the Lord has not condemned you, He has given you life through Jesus Christ. If you are a stingy giver the Lord has no choice but to use that same measuring stick on you. Therefore live life to its fullest; be merciful, forgiving, friendly, truthful, loving, and generous in your giving.

Be a Blessing!

Blessed!

Psalm 112 (The Message)

Hallelujah! Blessed man, blessed woman, who fear God, Who cherish and relish his commandments, Their children robust on the earth, And the homes of the upright—how blessed! Their houses brim with wealth And a generosity that never runs dry. Sunrise breaks through the darkness for good people— God's grace and mercy and justice! The good person is generous and lends lavishly; No shuffling or stumbling around for this one, But a sterling and solid and lasting reputation. Unfazed by rumor and gossip, Heart ready, trusting in God, Spirit firm, unperturbed, Ever blessed, relaxed among enemies, They lavish gifts on the poor— A generosity that goes on, and on, and on. An honored life! A beautiful life! Someone wicked takes one look and rages, Blusters away but ends up speechless. There's nothing to the dreams of the wicked. Nothing.
