A True Friend
In this amazing moment, a lizard springs into action to grab his cohort by the arm and save him from falling off their perch. (Photo: Alexey Tymoshenko / Caters News)
Now that is a friend. Everyone needs a friend like this when you are falling and things are not going your way. All of a sudden, when you think it’s all over, a friend reaches out to help save you. Wow! This gives me goose bumps.
So, if you see someone in need today, reach out and see if you can give them a hand. Be a friend today.

New Day
This is what God says,
the God who builds a road right through the ocean,
who carves a
path through pounding waves,
The God who summons horses and chariots and
armies—
they lie down and then can't get up;
they're snuffed out
like so many candles:
"Forget about what's happened;
don't keep going
over old history.
Be alert, be present. I'm about to do something brand-new.
It's bursting out! Don't you see it?
There it is! I'm making a road
through the desert,
rivers in the badlands.
Wild animals will say
'Thank you!'
—the coyotes and the buzzards—
Because I provided water
in the desert,
rivers through the sun-baked earth,
Drinking water for
the people I chose,
the people I made especially for myself,
a
people custom-made to praise me.

The Question
I am reading a new book (The Power of His Resurrection) by T. Austin Sparks and he made a fascinating statement about having a call over your life. I want to post this for encouragement for those who are having a tough time right now!
All that we are left with is: "The Lord has called me; I know that in my heart. The Lord has led me this way. The Lord has caused me to take this step that I have taken. I have burned my bridges; I have cut all my ties; I have stepped out on the Lord. Now, although I have done that, the Lord is testing me, seeming to give me very little confirmation and encouragement, and the Lord's representatives -officially- are by no means helpful: 'Nevertheless I stand to it, I am going on with God.'"

Private Audience
I sing to God, the Praise-Lofty, and find myself safe and saved.
The hangman's noose was tight at my throat; devil waters rushed over me. Hell's ropes cinched me tight; death traps barred every exit. A hostile world! I call to God, I cry to God to help me. From his palace he hears my call; my cry brings me right into his presence—a private audience! Psalm 18 3-6 The message
Your cry has brought you before the Lord today. Do you realize you have private audience with Him, just you and God. There is no one to interrupt or distract you from Him, direct communication between you and God. Now that you have His attention, make your request know to Him. He is listening to you so plead your case with confidence and you will find yourself safe.

Keep Moving Forward
For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper
And from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with His pinions,
And under His wings you may seek refuge;
His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark.
Psalm 91:3,4 NASV
I pray today, that God would move quickly on our behalf. The traps and plans that the enemy has for us will not come to fruition. The enemy will get confused and his plans will not even have time to set up because God will remove us from the situation first. I pray today for divine healing for our body, soul, and spirit. I will choose to partake in the secret place of the most high God and continue in His presence. I choose not to give up because He causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, and are called according to His purpose.
